The administration of policies, contracts and payments requires providers to manage
the risk of:

• Annuity overpayment to the recently deceased;
• Fraud activity, e.g. Impersonation of Deceased;
• ‘Gone away’ policyholders, who cannot be easily traced from existing records or have moved from their last known address.

The financial exposure associated with these risks can be significant and addressing these has immediate bottom line impact, on both payments in-force and reserves.

To assist the industry in addressing these risks, Origo has partnered with Tracesmart to launch Origo Data Matching service. The service allows providers to check their data against key sources of information including data and documents from the General Registrar and others.
