Options Transfers

The demand for transfers, whether during one’s working life or at retirement, is increasing. Often the transfer involves multiple parties and legal forms, making it time consuming for all involved.

Origo, with its Sponsors, the ABI and others has introduced efficiencies into the transfer process, which is delivering beneficial outcomes for the consumer.

Origo's Options Transfers service was launched in December 2008, and covers OMO, IVPP and Transfers. Currently used by over 25 providers, results show a dramatic reduction in transfer times from an average of 51 days to just 11 days. In October 2009, Options won the "Innovation in Business Improvement" award at the prestigious Scottish Financial Enterprise "Innovators" Awards, and in March 2010 won the "Best Use of B2B E-Commerce" award at the Financial Sector Technology awards.
